I knew of some guys in Vegas who were putting in full ti liners around the hole and beefing up the knives in general. Does anyone who these guys are and how to contact them?

Thanks

i do but not on this forum and i dont have contact info for them anymore, but if ya em me i'll send ya a link to the emerson forum (not the EKI forum) where they all hang out and you can ask them yourself about it, they add bolsters, change liners, handles, anodise this and that, its not cheap though.

em me at

www.CvetteRcR1@aol.com and i'll send ya a link........

I go to Phil Bruckerhoff and Reese Weiland for my Emerson mods.

To echo the previous posters, the work is not cheap. But in my opinion very much worth it.

if it makes ya happy its worth it, ya gotta remember though that a custom emerson sometimes isnt too much more and is a lot easier to get your $$ back out of vs a modded std EKI, this is what got me to looking for customs vs modding a std.

have seen some really cool mods though.

I used to do Emerson mods ,stopped when i started making my own knives , another friend here in town used to do them , he has fallen off the face of the earth it seems , a guy who goes by Ferrk on various forums does some great mod work , as does GMAN , also Matt Cuchiarra does a nice framelock conversion.
