I posted in spyderco's forums and only got one picture and it was a manbug, I've got an old LB I'm going to put some wood scales on and give it to my father-in-law but I have never seen a single ladybug with a scale swap. Have any of you done one or even seen a picture? I'm just looking for some inspiration, doesn't even have to be wood... IDK about the new ones but my old original LB is pinned and that may be why most people don't touch the scales, but its not a problem for me.

You can't really do a "scale swap" on an FRN Ladybug, regardless of whether the pivot is a rivet or a screw, because the handle is a single piece. You'd have to cut the handle apart, fabricate a new backspacer/spring carrier, and either fabricate liners and scales, or just linerless handle slabs, then figure out a way to hold everything together. For wood scales, it would be a whole lot simpler to make overlays and glue them on.
