Anyone due to get their tax rebate this week?

I have direct-deposit and my day is Friday. What has me a little miffed is that the first third of the taxpayers who were due last Friday, had theirs on the Tuesday prior. Has anyone seen thiers in their bank accounts yet?
 
Nope. My rebate is suppposed to come this week and I haven't seen it yet. Keep looking every morning and it ain't there yet. Booger!
 
I was hopin' it would come early!! I gots me a little wishlist... a new knife, baitcaster rod/reel, some camping stuff, etc.
 
I was all ready to wait 'til July for mine, and then realized this week that since I did direct deposit, I would get it within one week! That was a happy realization. So, even if it's delayed a week, I'm still way ahead with my vacation planning.

With 4 kids, I should get a nice amount, and that will go a long way in offsetting the price of gas for our drive to California.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to turn any of it into a knife purchase, as we have already budgeted out some other frivolous stuff, like furniture, and a fire alarm system, as well as a new computer. Who needs that stuff? :D

My day was by Friday (9th) and I got it yesterday (Tues). Direct Deposit.

00-20: May 2
21-75: May 9
76-99: May 16

00-09: May 16
10-18: May 23
19-25: May 30
26-38: June 6
39-51: June 13
52-63: June 20
64-75: June 27
76-87: July 4
88-99: July 11
 
My 'stimulus payment' should have been deposited by May 2. Didn't make it. And when I call the IRS hotline, I am advised after answering their screening questions that they 'cannot help me'. Sucks.

Anyone in the May 2 group (the first group) actually receive theirs on schedule?
 
Mine will eventually be deposited into a knife maker's account in about 3 weeks so they best get it deposited into my account before then. ;).
 
Revenue Canada paid me my $2,700 check a week ago, and that was just 14 days after my tax return was filed online..
 
According the the chart above mine was supposed to hit on the 9th.
Anyway I got my welfare check today. It is earmarked for "Blade Show Fodder".

Hey, mine made it on the day they said!

I'm probably going to take a bit out of it for a knife, just because I deserve it. My wife was expecting to be getting a lot less, as our neighbor's friend didn't get the full amount. So, if I tell the wife we got less, she would never know the difference! Okay, so I'm not that mean and sadistic. I love my wife too much to put her through that! That's not to say I'm not tempted...

Direct deposit ??? Well yes ,but here in NY state there have been reports that sometimes the check goes directly to the WRONG [somweone elses] bank account !!!
 
Although my social indicates I should have received my refund the 9th, at least I got a letter telling me I should have it by the 16th. And it should be for $600 (yeah).

My wife needs to make some car repairs but I'll probably put mine towards our wedding pictures bill. Unless we decide to get her a motorcycle to ride back and forth to work. :p
