Anyone EDCs Professional Soldier ?

So, anyone EDCs one ? What do you think about the PS ? I really like mine, but I don't really like the sheath. It's too long that it covers almost the entire handle. I can't wrap the handle to improve grip now. Any ideas on what to do with the kydex sheath ?
 
Hey, Congratulations on the PS. I EDC mine off and on. When I carry it, I just carry the knife and kydex sheath in my right front pocket. I have never found it getting in the way when sitting down or anything. I wear wrangler cargo pants all the time, so the pockets may be a little deaper than jean pockets.............As for the cord, I found a way to wrap it around the handle and it gives you alo more grip. I also did a review on the PS when I got mine. Here is a link and there are alot of pics, especially of the cord wrapped handle for you to see. Let me know what you think ??? Enjoy !!

Nyefmaker, that's a very nice review you've done. I wish I had read your review while waiting for my PS to arrive, as a way to increase the suspense in waiting :D
Very nice pictures too. I agree with all you said about the PS. It is a great little knife. I feel as if I were holding a larger knife when I'm holding the PS. I also did my handle like you did, only with different style. I'll post pics when I know how to do it.

Esav, and how could I cut the kydex in sheath form ? I know how to do it when it's not formed like this, is it the same ? Do you have the link to Piter's thread ?
 
I don't have the link. You do have to realize that Piter is so good at this, he cut down a One-piece Ubejane into the Scout. Kydex is nothing much to a man of his demonstrated talent. :D

As of this evening, I am waiting on my own PS, just closed a deal for one. It was going to be that, or the Inyoni.
 
Thanks for the links Esav, I appreciate it. Holy crap !! That was Ubejane ??? With that kind of talent, it's no wonder he could rework the kydex sheath. I know I don't have half the talent he has, so I guess I'll keep the sheath original for the time being.
 
The pics of the PS kydex sheath are great. I still like the OEM sheath better though, but to each his own. Piter does do some great work. His "Scout" is awsome. I could do one as well, but since CRK will not put Gun Kote on it for you, why bother. I asked Anne and she explained why and its cool, just a bummer is all. I think Chris would have sold alot of these. They could have given Piter a few $$ of each one sold, they would have still made a ton.

Great Posts ALL, That was my first review, I am glad all of you liked it. The CRK hat was more of a funny review :D I really like the PS. Its amazing how comfortable it really is. You guys are definately going to love it. I would like to see how you tied your lanyard ?? I was just messing around with my PS and came up with that. It works great for me and doesnt interfear with the sheath either. Plus it hides the wrapped part inside and out of the way. Pretty cool. Enjoy !!
