Anyone else add a wrist loop to their lanyard?

I know theres no way I'm the only one who's done this but I havent seen pictures before. I'm not sure if I'll keep it like that as the extra length is somewhat obtrusive, just me pretty much experimenting. Also, I have no idea how Chris gets those lanyards so tight. Mine is a mess.

Ive never seen that on a Sebenza but i have done that on a fixed blade that i use for skinning and deboneing deer.

Already dont like it and cut it short. So now it's basically just like factory setup (although much looser). I like the color though.

Thats a great looking handle. I'm really tempted to try that on one of my old cold steel carbon v fixed blades.

Keep practicing those knots, they get easier everytime you do one. The long loop looks good. The only time I use them is while fishing in a boat or any place I might have chance of loosing it. Also for safety when I'm processing a Deer, hog etc.

Decided to just stick with this. I like the matching color and happened to have this 550 cord laying around. Thicker than the stock cord though.

I have played around with lanyards of all sizes and lengths. For me the novelty wears off after a day or two as I find they get in the way. Now I keep my sebbies naked :D

I only do loops on my fixed blades. One of my favorite configurations is the "Three Finger Loop" -- a loop that is just big enough to fit my middle, ring, and pinky fingers through. This keeps my hand from sliding down the blade, acts just as a wrist loop does for drop retention, ans still leaves my thumb and index finger free to manipulate the blade:
