Anyone else add bling to their knives?

I spend a lot of my time at Vulture tieing lanyards and personally keep different ones on each of my fixed blades.

Very cool! The only lanyard I have came on my sebenza. I made one for my dragonfly with a .357 magnum shell but I took it off after a short time because my knot looked like crap.

Post pics if you have them! We use hand carved African trade beads, and some pewter and silver in the shop. There's a lot of very cool and very expensive custom beads out there, and we're always looking for new ideas. Our custom knives usually have one of a kind lanyards. I'll take some pics of my personal stuff the next day or two.

Those lanyards are handy for holding onto your knife when both hands are busy, like castrating a calf:

I put a lanyard onto just about any knife I make. Usually plain leather though. Sometimes I add the bling to the bolster:
