Yes, I know, these are far from "real" knives as I see them now, but I loved them then and I admit, I still do.
I also admit that I would not buy them now but I can not bring myself to part with them. Love that Rambo. ;)
Anyone else?

During the Rambo days I would of given almost anything for one.

Nowadays it's these types of blades...

@ Helderberg:

What is that bottom one?
Looks quite unique and usable, if it has a decent steel ;)

I do not own any such knife so far, but that one has me intrigued :D

I love my Quartermaster QTR-4, even though I get some pretty strange looks because of it!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1388609534.011689.jpg

I've always loved the kriss-style swords. The serpent shaped blades are elegant yet deadly at the same time. I'll probably never own one, but they're fun to look at every now and then.

Got this one at a flea market in Florida. I have never carried it on me...other then taking it home to my suitcase and then to my knife shelf.

The fuzzy writing on the blade is "fantasy master - paul ehlers design"

its a D'k tahg, traditional Klingons knife.
Either that or someones getting done for copyright infringement.

Yes! I bought a cheapo OTF from a flea market a few days ago. I love automatics, but they're illegal where I live and I don't want to shell out a few hundred dollars for a Microtech if I can't carry it.

Here is the box, says nothing about Klingons but it could be. I find no indication of what type of steel or date. It was a gift from a guy that worked for me back in the 80's so your guess is as good as any. It is a decent quality as far as build goes but then again I have never used it for anything except taking up safe space. It has a cool sheath also but of course I forgot to photograph that, next time. Also, feel free to call me Frank, Helderberg is the street where I grew up, and it is a mouthful. And yes, that is my BM Grip I used as a wedge to reduce glare from the flash shoved under the box at the top of the photo.
Thanks for the response.

I have a couple of Cold Steels, though I don't know if I like them enough to feel guilty about them.

Oh, and I thought about buying an Emerson for a minute. That was a close one...

Thanks for the info and the picture Frank, maybe I will get one some day if I can track one down ;)

I've finally reached the point in life where I buy what I want without any guilt or embarrassment. If you like a certain knife, no matter how it's viewed by other knuts, by all means buy and enjoy it.
