Anyone else carry a Double Duty?

I have had a Double Duty that I have carried on and off for several years. I like that I can have two blades with different bevels on them all in one small package. It doesn't seem to get much acclaim around here, but everyone that has used mine really likes it (One forum member even bought a Double Cross just to steal my thunder).

I was just wondering if anyone else carries one, and if there is a similar Kershaw that you could recommend.

Thanks for your time,
Shane

closest thing (to a double action auto) kershaw has ever offered, but completely different, is the cyclone which has a toggle for manual/assisted. not sure how many here will comment since the double duty is Lone Wolf.

I have one, never really carried it. Neat knife ! Styling , fit and finish, uniqueness. It's all good , I just prefer pocket clips over actual pocket knives. Anyone that doesn't own one , well , you should. Very nice piece !! Thanks for the post Shane !!

Those knives are fairly unique, the Double Duty and Double Cross. I carried one of each for a bit (gave my Double duty to a friend, got a Double Cross and sure enough gave it away too). I noticed that "traditional" knife carriers liked them.

I would like to see a frame lock version of the concept, since I no longer even consider liner-lock knives.

I thought Sterling out of Mount Airy, NC, made custom versions with the central liner-lock (like the Kershaws), but I just checked his site and none are shown.

Thanks for the replies. I was beginning to think I was the only one who has a Double Duty.:D I always carry it in conjunction with a fixed blade, but haven't ever found a better companion folder. I'll have to check out more of the Kershaw line-up.

I had both and they were some of the best slicers I have used. And they held a good edge. I regret swapping them off as they were fine knives. I may have to get a cross cut as I like to drop a nice little folder in my pocket more and more. Clips are nice but sometimes around the house in sweats and sweat shorts it is easier to drop the knife in a pocket. I gotta quite reading the forums here as It seems I need to buy another knife every time.

i didn't know kershaw had a knife named "double Duty". I assumed incorrectly you were referring to the lone wolf knife and had the wrong forum. you got me curious now. Anyone have photo?
