Greetings all and Happy Thanksgiving!

Just checking in to see if I was the only one doing the cooking today among the Busse gang.
It's just the wife and I, so I am making a small meal. A large roasting chicken, homemade cornbread dressing, sweet potatoes, and green beans. I just wish I had the Nuclear Carot Cutter to aid in the preparations and carving. :D
Back to the kitchen!

Hi Nick
Happy Thanksgiving All
I am doing most of the cooking in between concrete cleaning jobs ( started at 12:00 am.) Finished cleaning at 1:00 pm. But the Turkey is done now & you can shake the meat off the bones:D time to eat & sleep :D

Me and the wife and kids are at my mothers house this year. I awokw this A.M. to the smell of cornbread dressing, muffins and other sundries that she makes every year. Getting ready to head over there as we speak, so you and yours have a good one and HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all the hogs here!

i prepared a seven course feast using my fine buuuusse cutlerryyy. aahhhhhhh...

while my wife sat on her fat tutu and ate bon bons on the couch.

that's how i justify buying what i wish and leaving her naked.

now, back to the drinking

and by the way..... HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL:D

I have cooked the T-Day meal for my family for many years now. A deep-fried, 23# turkey was the center of attention today. I too would have liked a Carrot Cuter to carve the bird!

I had the traditional Thanksgiving dinner Wednesday evening with parents and sister and aunts and uncles because sister and her hubby had to be back in Tennessee tonight. Today the wife and I took the boys (25 & 23 yrs.) out for the Indian buffet at Dehli Palace and then Pirates of the Carribean at the $1.50 movie. Tomorrow we'll go to my father-in law's farm for Bar-B-Que dinner and to shoot the guns with the nephews. I got to show sis my new Mr. Mofo and give her a cheap folder for her camping trips. Happy Turkey Day to all!

Does scoopin the chow onto my plate count as cooking???

We visit her parents and my mom. Both cook quite well, so I don't want to spoil their streak.
