Well living in SC kinda sux at the moment, flooding all over the state. Luckily where I live in Lexington hasn't experienced much flooding other areas not far away are under 4-6' of water. Which had lead them to a forced 6pm-6 am curfew for the public. Everything is shut down...

They're saying residents who live within a quarter mile on the Lexington side of the saluda or congaree rivers should evacuate before they release water out the lake Murray dam.

I don't think I'll venture down that way for a while. I'm sure I'd get bit by a shark while driving down 95.

Took a trip into work this morning, no power, so basically it was a 2 hour tour of Columbia for nothing! It's a mess all over town roads and dams blown out all over. My area Blythewood has some problems, but nothing like the Forest Acres and Garners Ferry areas! Funny thing is I haven't seen any mention of five points flooding and that amazes me, it's usually the first and the worst!

Have you been around the cae airport area? I gotta go by there later to get a rental car for work. Just wondering if I can take my normal route down 1 or if I should go down platt springs .

Sorry Bobby just seeing your post, I was not in that exact area, but if you visualize low areas in your route and stay away from those you should be ok! It's hit and miss traveling around Columbia at the present, 100's of roads closed!

RDU area of NC is just wet, nothing like they said it would be.
My mom lives in Myrtle Beach and luckily no flooding for her area.

Colombia and Charleston haven't been as lucky...seen videos in Columbia of cars with water almost to the roof, and truck's being washed away and end up nearly fully submerged.

Being seeing alot of military choppers flying overhead all day....assuming national guard being flown in.

I'm in Charleston, and for a day or two they closed off inbound traffic across the bridges onto the peninsula. Which means we could have left but couldn't have come back. Which felt weird. Stay safe out there, everyone!
