Man...I have bought alot of knives in the past three months...lol My collection has doubled since I have been coming on here! As of now I got...

3 Mark II's (Two are the black handled ones with serrations and the other is Cutlery Shoppe Special with a wasp blade and gray handle.)
2 Mark I's (one is a plain blade while the other is a black blade with serrations.)
Al Mar SERE 2K
Victorinox One Handed Trailmaster
Victorinox Tinker
CRKT Carson neck knife
Gerber Guardian
Ka-Bar Black
6 sh!t no name knives
And a Spyderco Endura (Which I bought last night!)

It's an obsession...

The fact that people become knife knuts after visiting here is more of a rule than exception. ;)
My collection have grown, both in size and in price. Sometimes I think this hobby is like doing drugs, without frying your brain and doing something really bad :D
 
I know exactly what your saying...I ask people if I'm nuts when they come to my house...I start pulling out all types of sh!t. The ones I like to show off are my Gerber Mark I's & II's! Those by far are some of my favorite pieces.
 
What's the one handed SAK like? I haven't heard anyone talking about these yet.
 
Yup i'm knife crazy here.I'm crazy about flicking open knives.And crazy about trying to master the balisong knife.

They sleep on their own pillows too..MY balisongs..
 
Ming, I love my one handed SAK!!! It's the only knife I use on a daily basis and it's in my pocket as we type. You will hear alot of people talk sh!t about the blade and how the serrations are in the wrong place...but I personally like how the knife is set up it's diffrent but it's a great blade and not expensive. I sharpened it last night so it's ready for some serious action!
 
Considering the definition of Fetish is "the centering of strong sexual emotion in objects or parts of the body not normally associated with such emotion" (Webster's; 1992), I don't have a knife fetish. Nothing about my knives make me aroused in any way. You guys must be weird, or just didn't realize what a fetish was.

Yes, sometimes having a cool knife my hand makes me even happier than... erm... well, yeah.

Cool knife -> Instant wood.
I know it's wrong, but it does feel oh so right! :)
 
Well, fetish, meaning sexual arousal, vs. feeding an addiction to knives, well, they both release heavy doses of endorphines in the brain, hence the "rush" when experiencing either, so in a way, they are related...sort of...

Either way, knives can be a habit forming addiction, in every sense of the meaning, just like sex, per se. It's just that no one has officially named the knife addiction medically.

So, Yes, I have an addiction, and I'm proud of it:D:D:D

Where do you keep your knives then, Matt? Most all mine live in the bed room and one always in arms reach.
 
Ok...maybe I should edit that to say, in the bed. I think that it was implied what I meant though, hint hint, nudge nudge, say no more ;) I do keep numerous knives in my dresser and a few on my shelves over my bed.
