I have never seen much talk about the Crunch. I picked one up a few months ago and love it. I still use my Wave mostly, but I really like the Crunch. Nothing like a pair of foldable Vise Grips. Does anyone else have/use them?

I have wanted a Crunch as well. While it is on my list of things to purchase, I almost always find other items which get bumped ahead of it. If I think I am going to need locking pliers I will make a point to carry a set of Vise Grips with me (typically in addition to a Leatherman or Victorinox multitool).

I usually don't carry Vise Grips with me. It is still a pretty handy little tool. The hex adapter is a nice touch too.

My wife bought me a Crunch for Christmas 4 years ago. It's one of my favorite tools:)

I have one, and like it very much. It was my first Leatherman. I tend to carry a SAK most of the time, but I carry the Crunch in my Honda along with a SOG tool.

I just haven't seen a whole lot mentioned here about them, but I think it is a great tool. I was just wondering what everyone's opinion was for those who do have them.

Had one years ago , no problems , just didn't find it as usefull as the needlnose based tools . Very good blade , and 1/4 hex driver was great .

That is exactly how I would comment. My wave sheath came unsewn and I carried the Crunch for a few months. It really came in handy a few times when the Wave would not have worked. Too bad you can't have both in one tool.

I also like the Crunch. Schrade and Kershaw made multi-tools with Vise Grip or Vise Grip style pliers but they've been discontinued. The Crunch is also the only "classic" Leatherman multi-tool that hasn't been discontinued or "upgraded".
