It is a tough piece of plastic you can use to chock doors opened or closed. When put under a door you would have to bust the door to get in. I have one for the wife to barricade herself and the kids in our room with in case she needs to. As the BG is breaking the door she can do some target practice with the CZ75. I also use them when doing SWAT work.

I don't know if it's my floors or I'm trying the wrong materials for wedges or what ... every time I've tried wedging a door I've found I can push it open. The wedge just slides along the floor.

I've had the same sliding problem. What kind of material is the Wedgeit made from?

Will this hold a door shut on carpet? I imagine it would work on tyle and linolium and stuff like that, but what about carpet? Thanks.

Good Evening All-

Need a few doorstops around the house/office, so I ordered a handful of 'em from the folks at WedgeIt. Because the word "tactical" and "doorstop" probably shouldn't be used in the same sentence, I didn't order the black version!

Hopefully these will do the trick in keeping the cat out of the office and off the computer. This cat has opposable thumbs, so a superior tool was needed to keep the doors shut. The pricetag is pretty steep, so I'm hoping the quality of the materials makes it worth the price of admission.

Product review to follow in the future...
