Anyone else have problem with accessing, or seeing Blade Forum?

These questions go in Tech Support, not General Knife discussion.
The message you saw must have indicated that the forums were being backed up, and some tweaking was done as well.

Nope the Forum is still not working per the normal on my old Macintosh, it was fine until last night. Now it is ok on the iPad, the old Macintosh is still not work or looking properly.

So be a good chap and let the tech support people know there is a problem,

Thanks.

I use an iPad as well, no problems to speak of. Macs with older OS software have their own special types of issues as well.
Spark updated the forums from version 4.2.0 to 4.2.2
A couple people have reported some issues already. There is always a chance that things will not go 100% smoothly during an update. Such is life, we'll be moving in short order.

It is quite possible that there is a compatibility issue with the older OS and/or browser. Have you attempted to clear your cookies, cache, and other browsing data? Newer browsers tend to be alright with overwriting the old cache in the case of site updates, but older ones can have issues with such.

Isn't that the truth. Being in IT, I get to see how every update goes wrong in some way, shape, or form. My compliments go out to you all for the swiftness and overall smoothness that this update process has exhibited.

As I said the iPad is fine, the eMac is not working normal like it was 24 hours ago. Heck you got me with me with my eMac telling you what is not working. LOL

Try updating your browser, download Google Chrome or Mozilla FireFox. Both available for Macs.
If you try Chrome, you will need to be on version 10.6 or better, same goes for Firefox.
To find what software version you have, click on the Apple icon in the upper left side of your screen, then select "About this Mac".
Here is a complete list of software versions according to Apple:

I'm also in IT, and it never ceases to amaze me the types of bugs and other issues that arise from outdated software. Sometimes it is like Groundhog Day.

That'll do it, too. Chrome seems to have some of the best multi-system compatibility as of late, at least with the sites pertinent to my purview.

Groundhog Day, I like it; I'll have to save that one. It always is indeed shocking at times how a small, simple update can entirely mitigate some significant bugs and errors that occur. I'm glad to find a fellow IT guy here!

I have a ten year old eMac, and it work great for most stuff. Blade Forum went to do do last night. Google E-Mac and you will understand my old computer is not comparable with the new bro users, if it don't get fix soon I will say bye bye Blade Forum.

The only problem I'm having is that the Activity Stream page is refreshing itself so things are scrolling while I'm trying to read. It's making me a little seasick. My Firefox says it's up to date. Anyone else seeing this?

I have firefox and it works well for me, my problem is on my phone, it always says page not found or it doesn't load at all. I just deal with it.

Which browser are you trying to use? As I said, some have better compatibility/update schedules than others.

What brand/model phone are you using? You may be able to get a firmware update on your phone itself, which would allow you to install updated apps. The slightest inconsistency and it all goes to pot, phones are an all or nothing proposition.

Unfortunately true in so many ways.
