Anyone else have problems posting pictures????

I've been trying for days to post some pics I took, and it's not working.:grumpy: It works sometimes, but hardly ever. Is it my server, or BF? I hate to complain, but this is getting really old.
 
Are you using the "Manage Attachments" feature on the "posting" screen to do this directly from your hard drive, Phillip? If so, does the little "Upload Manager" window give you a reason (up at the top of the window) why it won't accept the foto?
 
To go with what Mike said most the time if it doesn't work for me is because the photo is to large. It likes them small.
 
Fitzo, yeah, that's what I'm trying to do.
It starts to load them, and when it gets to about 35 percent done, a screen comes up saying " Page cannot be displayed"
I'll try shrinking the pics.

I've never had that happen, so I am unable to really help, Phillip. Sorry. :o If it continues, try running it by the folks in the Tech Forum. Good luck!
 
Just FYI, I tried to post an oversize foto and it gave me a very specific "Too large" message.
 
I just tried again, with much reduced pics this time. It still didn't work, but it didn't show the "Page cannot be displayed" page. Aaarg.
 
when posting the pic's the max size is 800x600. Try resizing them to that and see if it helps.:cool:

They were smaller than that, and less than 100 Kb. Thanks though.
 
Here's your test foto, Phillip. If it works, I'm thinking I agree with you that it's a server/bandwidth/connection issue. You can always go the other route of trying a freebie account on a hosting site like Village Photo or Photobucket and posting a link from there. Good luck.
