Anyone Else Having Forum Troubles?

I might have missed the announcement or something, but is anyone else having major issues with the forum?

It started last night, around 10:30 or so. Whenever I would click on New Posts I'd only see about 8 posts, even though when I logged on it said there was 400+ new replies. Then, this morning, I couldn't even get into my account for a while. I finally managed to log in and get to my CP, but I still cannot get it to show me any new posts. When I click through the forums it seems to work, I can get into this section (obviously) and I can read and reply to threads. But the overall functionality of the forum seems to be completely down.

Anyone else?

If this is a major issue, I hope they get it fixed soon. I've had to actually be productive this morning at work, and it's a royal pain.... :p
 
Over the last couple of days, I've had periods where the forum was extremely slow.

It's not on my end because other pages load very fast at the same times this was slow. Could be Spark was backing up the server, or doing some kind of maintainance that didn't require the forum go down completely?

Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking too, since (like you) everything else loads fine. I can still get around the forums manually, but the New Posts option is currently completely useless for me. It keeps saying there are no new posts. Another weird thing is the time it says it was completed, it always says the search was generated a long time ago (20 mins, 34 mins, 45 mins, ect.), I don't recall it saying that before, seems to me that it was a lot shorter time frame.

In any event, I submitted a trouble ticket, so hopefully it'll get fixed. Cause this business of being productive at work is just a little too much for me.... :D

Haha, not a problem, glad I could (inadvertently) help out! :D

It is a database issue, I tried to reply to a post and got a vBulletin error message saying there was an issue with the database. Server might have gotten overloaded or something.

EDIT: Just tried the New Posts button, and it worked like a charm. So I'm guessing everything is back up and running.
 
Everything is fine right now but the site wouldn't load from about 7-10 PST yesterday (Monday).

I have experienced the same performance problem with this site off & on over the past several days.
