It sometimes takes me trying IE, Firefox, and Flock before I can get on, but I usually manage. I believe for me to get in using IE, I have to bring up a 32bit version. Some things still does not like the 64bit version. I haven't played with all of the security things to totally figure it out.
 
I can get it to work, but it is bog slow...It literally takes 14 minutes to get a Sambar Stag/Nickel Silver/S30V/Finger Groove 110 to load...

I'm on a dial-up connection, but it shouldn't take that long... :rolleyes:

(I did it to see what that combo would cost...$237.50...) :p
 
Yep...I have only been able to get the custom shop site to load for me about 3 times. It's sucks...but, I guess they don't need me to buy a new custom shop knife. If and when they fix it so an average JB can get on then I'll order me a new custom 110 knife.

It might be a little slow tonight. It took me about two minutes from top of screen here to getting a price of 124.50 on S30V with Koa (which is what I would order if I ordered anything).

I think Koa is the best looking handle going right now.....better than the elk I just paid more for a short time ago......although the elk is definitely nice.

I have a high speed hookup and use Firefox.
 
:cool:...To be honest about the Buck website...I click on it and it's up...I can have a knife ordered in 20 seconds...I have Verizon FIOS and use Firefox...:cool:
 
I have comcast high speed/Aol it's plenty fast to get me on every other site out there. Why should I or anyone else have to add firefox to get into the custom shop???? The buck web site pops right open...just not the CS. What good is the CS if I can't open it with a simple click of the mouse.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's having trouble with the CS. I bet they are loosing a lot of $$$$$$$ in sales. If I owned Buck the web guy would be sent packing faster than some of the other good folks who lost their jobs not long ago!!!! Bucks new web site has been nothing but trouble from the time it was started. Ok...rant off.

:cool:...John I just tried out IE and Opera on Buck's website and it opens just as fast as it does with Firefox...Can't figurte out why it wouldn't be as fast for you with comcast high speed/Aol...Maybe it is AOL...:confused:
 
I just logged into it also using this 64bit version of IE this time and it was instant. Other times it hasn't been. Maybe they are playing with it.
 
I just tried it again and everything loaded up immediately......maybe this is because I visited it a short time ago?

Anyhow, it was fast as lightning this time.

But I'm still not buying anymore from the Shoppe until we get more choices.

EXPAND.....EXPAND......EXPAND.
 
It opens and performs lightning fast for me, on cable with Opera on Linux. Sometimes add or popup blockers will nuke these type of sites.
 
Ok,

I added Buck to my trusted sites, turned off my pop-up blocker and turned off my firewall (mcaffee). I'm on Roadrunner, Still a no-go. It worked just fine a couple of weeks ago. So it must be the upgrade by Buck.

Someone that has access can do me a favor: Check the price of the jigged buffalo horn please. I just got a 110 with jigged horn from the same fellow that sold me the Drop Points and I love it. I'm thinking of calling Pete to see if I can change the walnut to jigged horn but I'd like to know the extra cost first. Thanks g

Working just fine for me, running firefox 3 and all of webroots' firewall and spyware software.
