"The Maxpedition™ ToadStool™ (#0406) answers the call for a tactical camera bag, equipped with storm collar and a water-resistant lid. Padded with closed cell foam on all sides to protect contents, particularly delicate photographic equipment. This new versipack has nylon attachment points on both sides for adding other Maxpedition accessory pouches. The ToadStool can itself be used as a pocket attaching onto Maxpedition or PALS webbing with a pair of Long Malice Clips ($2.99/pair)."

Hi All-

Those two bags certainly fall into the "large" category, so they probably make more sense for extended dayhikes. Nice stuff.

The Toadstool isn't that big, it is meant as a camera bag.

The DevilDog however is very big! I've got one on order for Geocaching though. Killer day-hiking bag.

I'm wondering how much of a call there's been for a "tactical" camera bag. Are the SF guys in Iraq flooding Maxpedition's email demanding a better way for them to carry their mini-cams?

Still, looks like a neat bag. I wish there was a place near by that sold them so I could actually see and hold them before buying.

I doubt many SF guys need a camera bag, but a tough-as-nails Maxpedition camera bag is good stuff! :D
