Not spending as much time on the Bay and the Sell forum because of Operation 2 weeks? I used to be on multiple times a day on each hunting my next fix, but with Operation 2 Weeks, my fix now comes on Wednesday.

I was tempted by one from Trevor, but by the time I reached out to him he said it was already gone.

I rarely look at the bay for knives, especially Bussekin as they seem to be well overpriced compared to the forum here. I do check in on the Exchange pretty regularly, but with so many Op2Wks orders upcoming I'm having to behave myself. If I wasn't anticipating being dinged for the AK-47 any day now I'd be all over the Camp Tramp that just came up though.
 
For the most part, the bay is crazy, but occasionally you find a good deal. That's where I found my MOASS, but I reached out the the seller and negotiated a good deal.
 
The Bay has puked up some remarkable prices on occasion. I mean very spectacularly low on real historic earlier Bussey pieces.

But I've never bought one there. I've contacted sellers and advised them they were way off on prices.


But the operation 2 weeks thing is going to give me a mental breakdown.
 
Oh for sure, when it was Ganza's only a few years ago, you would get them about 4 times a year. In between I would cruise the for sale area and the bay.
 
I like browsing the bay more since I learned how to exclude a handful of specific sellers from my search results...

I need to figure out that trick. Some I can't help but shake my head at. Like the $2600 MOABM

It is good to see a bunch of different blades though.

So far I have the one that I found on the Bay, one from Mr Brown, one from Trevor (Knifehunter) and one from the custom shop. I also have 5 pending from Operation 2 Weeks

Go to advanced search. Under a section titled Sellers, select "only show items from" then change the dropdown to "exclude." Once you set up your search parameters the way you want, hit search. Verify that it worked, then you can click the green link that says "follow this search." I recommend turning email notifications off for this particular followed search.

I dont even really bother with the Bay anymore. Hard to find good deals that dont have crazy shipping charges plus crazy import charges! Looked at a waki before and it was like $500 + $50 shipping+$106import charges! $650 usd now a days is equal to $35,000 cdn lol!!jk

Honestly I like buying off the exchange here because I find it to be Busse/kin knife fans that are pretty awesome with prices that arent jacked up several hundred dollars to much and alotta good people on here always willing to listen or help out a fellow Busse/kin lover
