G10 on non lock side obviously. I how did it turn out? How did the one with the liner lock and ti non lock side work as a user? Any issues I am not thinking about? Any pics?

It been done before with some mixed results mostly good.

The main thing is to keep the blade with the same lock so you won't get any lock up problems.

I often thought of making a g10/TI Millie but the liner lock never gave me any trouble so I can't be bothered to tinker with it.

I am tempted to get the blue g10 pm2 and put a black dlc blade in it tho....

M4 Millie was that way from the factory if memory serves right.

I think you are correct. I was just wondering if the swap would lighten it up or add anything to the "carryability". Plus I think TI and Camo G10 would be a cool combo.

A while ago, I did this to a xhp military and ti military with the steel insert on the lockbar. Results were great. No issues with lockup or action. The swap took some weight off but not really enough to make that much of a difference.

I was going to make switch, but I weighed the parts first. The Ti Mili weighs 162gm. The G-10 Mili weighs 118gm. The hybrid would split the difference at 140gm. The weight savings would be 22gm or about 2/3oz. I didn't think the weight savings was worth the trouble, and I would have had a handful of funny parts leftover.

G10 on non lock side obviously.

Don't the ZT 0550 and 0560 come that way? (I'm not intimately familiar with them.)

I have a Bradley Alias 1 that is Ti/G10. I've wanted an Alias ever since I first saw them and bought this one when I found it. I would have preferred the all-Ti I think but this one was available and at a better price. I don't have any issues with it but I think the all-Ti version would be theoretically stronger. Whether that matters in actual use I don't know.

I don't think this is the info the op was after

And this is what happened to your leftover Ti scale after it met an M4 Military. The more titanium, the more better! (for me anyway) :)

That's pretty awesome guys! I have an m390 cf mili on the way. Is the ultimate Franken mili ti and carbon fiber with s90v, m390 or m4??? Anyone done that yet? Ohh what about fluted ti with one of those steels?

I have a couple of Ti Franken Milies. One has an S-60-V blade, the other an S-90-V blade. I resisted the inclination to put a C/F slab on the non-lock sides as explained above. Either one would be good for a long hike (like the Appalachian Trail).

now that we're all dreaming, i'd like to eventually upgrade at least one of my s30v ti millies. so how can i go about asking for s90v or m-4?

The next sprint/exlusive should be: Ti lock side with CF non lock side and CTS 20CP. Would that be a big seller???

To make a FrankenMili, you buy 2 Milis that have the parts you want and switch the stuff around. You actually wind up with 2 FrankenMilis. So an S90V X C/F Mili and an S30V X Ti Mili yield an S90V X Ti Mili and an S30V X C/F Mili. Many permutations are possible.
