Anyone ever fixed a break like this?

I have some broken scissors and was thinking of trying to fix them myself rather than sending it in. All I would be cutting with them would be an occasional string, paper, hair etc.... not whatever the previous owner attempted.
I was thinking I could buy a cheap chinese knockoff with scissors, and cut the scissor blade I need. Unscrew my scissors and jb weld or superglue (open to ideas of something I could use) the scissor blade onto my broken blade, screw my blade back on and add a spring?
Anyone done anthing like this with success? I'd just like to have the scissors functional for light duty

You might find an extremely talented person at a machine shop who could tig weld it but it broke so close to the screw hole it would be really tough. Jb weld or super glue won't hold up.
