I placed my order on the 16th or 17th and got an email on the 24th saying it was done ready for payment which blew my mind! Hell I was figuring at least then end of August and i wasn't even prepared to pay for it,lol. I emailed back within an our of getting their email but never heard back, even after a 2nd email yesterday. I assume yesterdays won't be read til tomorrow but I'm a bit confused at the moment. I'm wondering if this is just a mistake and i got the email by accident. One thing I found strange was that they said the card I gave them for the $1 deposit was declined for the remainder of the money but why would they have even tried to run it without contacting me beforehand? Any info appreciated.

My guess is the combo you ordered was either already made or that an order was cancelled so you got yours on time, sometimes the stars have aligned just as they are doing a run of certain combos when someone places an order. No matter....be happy.... :) As to the payments/CC I have no idea.

Also, when they contact you for payment that usually means your knife will be completed in about ten days.

Have had it go both ways, some orders super fast, others requiring a bit more patience :) I'd say Andy has it pegged, and you timed it just right.

I ordered a rat 6 earlier this year and when I got the email stating it was ready the knife was already in my mail box. They processed the pymt after he blade had been shipped which I figure was due to a delay in them processing it. Normally from what I can gather is they would process the pymt when the knife is almost completed and due to ship in a few days.
