Sorry couldnt think of a better place for this, and I know some of you are some devious types

I am looking for a legit battle ready trident. Not to be confused with a pitchfork.

No real reason, just cause :D

throw up some drawings... sounds like something I would do! It would go well well with my tactical trowel...

I love tridents, atleast the idea of them (haven't ever handled one). I couldn't imagine any better close combat weapon for myself. Personal choice ofcourse..

I'd be definitely interested in trident aswell. :D

From what I hear, they're very good for catching and hooking, not just deflecting, your oponent's blade (with training, I assume). I'd love one, too.

Cool idea! Don't know what I would do with it but that has never stopped me before:D

Surprised Cold Steel hasn't done it yet. They tend to come out with some odd/unique stuff.

Never made a trident before but we have made Fish Gigs for folks before. Heres one we madea logn time ago for a guy in upstate New York. Seems Kinda rough to me know :o The barbs were made by folding over and forge welding the tips. Body was forge welded together too.

I reckon pitchfork would make readily basis for poor mans pitchfork. Would it hurt the steel if the spikes were straightened out without any melting or heat treating?
Then maybe few points cut out, and the ones at the side shortened a bit for stabby action. :D

I dont have a way to submit drawings, but well see if I can describe it ha!

Thinking the base where the three spikes come out to be square, then the three spikes to be conical in design, going to a point. No barbs as i dont plan on fishing with it.

Ideally I was imagining steel all the way from handle to point, but from a structural standpoint im not too sure.

Maybe something like Vecs polymer hawk poles, with say a 10-12 inch length of round steel rod, attached to the head maybe?

Guy can dream right
