Anyone ever modify blade shape on Spyderco Stretch?

I am planning on picking up the blue FRN Spyderco Stretch ZDP-189 as soon as they are released (anyone know for sure, last I saw it was expected later this month). I like the ZDP, full flat grind, blade length, and the price with the FRN handles. The only feature I don't 100% love is the blade shape. Specifically the "wave" on the top of the knife as it goes from the handle to the tip. Has anyone ever modified the non-working edge of the knife to be more of a straight line like on the Delica? Pics please. Thanks.

Yablanowitz, that is EXACTLY what I was thinking. Thanks.

Did you do that work yourself or did you send it off to Mr. Krein or others? Did you have to shorten the blade length a little to get the angle or did you start from the factory point?

I did it myself on the bench grinder at work, then cleaned it up a little on my Black and Decker belt sander. The blade is still factory length, minus a few sharpenings. All the grinding was done on the spine, nothing was taken off the edge or point. The ZDP wasn't too bad to grind, I think D2 and S30V gave me more grief.
