Anyone ever see Spydercos packaged like this????

I spoke with the seller a few weeks ago, he said his friend from Japan brings him these and they are packaged that way. The Native Operation Iraq Freedom is the same

Thank you. Just never seen them like that before. Wonder why 3 delicas are going for so much?

Best regards,

Wow! Now that you mentioned it, it's really horrendous! Maybe the fact that it's factory packed and untouched or people are just buying them to look at?

The price that it sold for was pretty good considering that they sell separately for $110 each.

Yup. Word to the wise: never, ever sell valuable items in a multiple lot. It reduces the sale price dramatically.

The "CP" at the end of the model number stands for "Clam Pack"
Exactly, and many chain sporting goods stores, as well as Military PX's like that type of packaging. It's difficult enough to open, and large enough, to provide a lower risk of "inventory shrinkage" when the knives are on self-service displays. Spyderco does not offer clam pack packaging for all its knives but has offered it on some of its more popular models for years.
