Anyone ever seen a persian carbon fiber William Henry? I was thinking of getting a nicer dressy knife. I emailed them and was told that the persian isn't made any longer, but they didn't say if it ever went out in carbon fiber. They are pretty close to me on the coast, so I kinda like the idea of supporting a local business.

Thanks,

Ted

I can't really Say if they ever made one, but it seems to me that they did, because they made all four patterns in all 4 materials at one time.
What I really want to say though, that if you are going to buy one, you aren't supporting them at all, really. This is a knife that will have no direct effect on the market because it is out of production. The only way to truly support them would be to buy either directly from them or buy directly from a retailer. Personally, I would recommend that you support a retailer that supports Bladeforums, then you're supporting both.

Well shucks, guess I hadn't really thought that one through huh....I like the persian blade, but they no longer make them. I'll see if anyone still has them though.

Thanks,

Ted

William Henry didn't make the Persian model for the Carbon Fiber series,

BUT :D

they did make a limited run (250 pieces) of the Persian for the Black & Tan series. Like the CF series, but with gold titanium nitride coating on the pivot, screws, and thumbstud, and boron carbide coated blade. Check around, you might be able to find one (I bought mine from A.G. Russell).
