I was just curious if anyone has ever stonewashed there busses. I think it would be a great idea. I am tempted to have my hellrazor done. Does anyone know if the little pieces they use to stonewash would get in the grooves on the hellrazors blade?. Any pics of any that has been done would be great.
Anyone else like the idea?.:)
 
That actually sounds pretty cool. I would be willling to volunteer a test blade (NO-e) if someone here has access to a stone-washing device.

If it looks anything like the Badger I bead blasted for a customer the other day I'm sure it will look really great.

i think if you had a large enough reloading case tumbler you could use some river pee gravel and vibrate it for a few minutes at a time till it works.
 
I think it would be great because it would help hide the scratches.. Plus it looks cool..:thumbup:
 
If you hit it with a vibratory sander it looks (to me) just like a stonewashed blade. I got an abused SH-e I did this on...
 
Sweco machines be some major $$$.

Used to have one at work. We all put our Zippo's through. Sweet look.

One guy put his Colt slide through, but didn't think about protecting the internal surfaces... :rolleyes:
