Anyone ever wonder why the postage rate just went up?

Here is evidence and proof of why the postage rate just increased!

As it turns out, ProStampPorker has been hogging more than Infi and the Postmaster has figured out the whole supply/demand thing:eek::eek::eek:

All those stamps and they still made him add a nickel.

That, you smart asses, is by choice of my local po dunk post master. He tells his counter jockeys to use up all the lower rate stamps. So the poor guy figures how many stamps it needs and he write the # on the upper left of the box (should say 90 Strabs). Then he gets to spend his afternoon putting stamps on a box. This isn't the first one he has done like that.

Do you pay by cash by any chance? I've NEVER had the PO put stamps on the package instead of the little label like on yours for .05. Heck, I don't even need to put stamps on anything anymore, I just print out a label and they charge my account.

I wonder if it's some kinda scam to skim off the top of postage? Hmmm?
 
I got three of them in my P.O. Box, so I figured I would spread the luck. I haven't a clue why they were sent to me, but I sure as heck wasn't going to send them back.

I paid cash this time, but I have paid with a CC and they did the same thing.
 
That's the same thing the post lady at my local office does, she is trying to get rid of old stamps, must be something to do with having to count them as inventory all the time.

But she doesn't tell her counter jockey to do it, she is the counter jockey.
