**Anyone experience loose blade play on Voyagers or Gunsites???

I am considering the extra large Voyager Gunsite. Have anyone experienced loose blade play with these folders?
 
Um rogue spear, why are you asking about a Cold Steel product in a SOG forum? Well anyway, FYI the Voyagers have plastic handles and NO washers, so sooner or later their will be some blade play. I know, I have a couple.
 
I experienced some side play on 2 Voyagers that I owned. One was 3 inch and the other was a 4 inch folder and the bothe developed some play after long use.
 
Actually, no. I've had a Voyager 4" for about 3 years, and I've never (and still don't) had any blade play on it. It isn't used super-hard though, so maybe it just hasn't gotten to that point.

I have a 3" Voyager clip-point that I carry from time to time. I usually carry my Spyderco Delica as my EDC, but occationally, I like to carry a more "traditional" blade shape. When I do carry my Voyager, I am playing with it constantly. Opening, closing, opening, closing. Flick, flick, flick. Over and over again. I also cut whatever I can find around the job, cardboard, tape, you name it. Now, I don't carry it as much as my Delica, but I abuse it a heck of a lot more, and I have seen zero blade play out of it! Just my .02.

no play on my gunsite large after about 1 yr and used to be my primary knife i carried 24/7 - good knife for the $$ IMHO
