Looking to get a pocket sheath with a clip similar to the one offered by Alan. I think he calls it the "Kangaroo pouch". Anyone have one? Do they work well? The new William Henry sheaths? Anyone familar with both?

I don't "own" one, but I got to play with one when doing somo work for him.

It's really easy to work with and I won't damage your pockets!

You only insert the tip of the handle and twist it a little but I was able to insert it without any twist at all.

He offer two sizes and I think that is free when you order a knife from him clipless.

I hope it helps!

I got one each from Allen at Blade. I like them very much. First off, they are much easier on the pocket with the plastic clip.My primary reason for liking them is that it allows very functional carry with a non-tactical look. In the pocket, the wide black clip and low profile looks just like a beeper. I find that the size/weight difference is negligable, given that when the Steel clip of a knife is removed, the width in the pocket is close to the same.
Allen was selling them for eight dollars a piece, or free with a clipless knife purchase. They work great with any brand of tactical folder. Get the large one, the sizes are very close and it allows the knife to ride deeper in the pocket. Well worth the money, IMHO.

I have the large size and the small size. I love Allen's knives and I think the world of him and Valerie. I also think the clip sheaths are a great idea. Unfortunately, I don't find them to work that well for me. I would have prefered a better fit and maybe different material, like leather. I suggest you get your hands on the size you want and test it on the knife you want it for, if only for a minute or two. That's really the only way you'll know if it's what you're looking for. Then again, at the current price, you wouldn't be taking a big risk.

I got one and it is great.
Here's a hint-if the sheath is too big for the knife you are using, go to a Home Depot and get some adhesive backed felt that they sell for protecting table tops, etc. Cut to size and line the inside of sheath with it. Makes a tighter fit and the felt keeps the knife shiny.

I have one and it is a good design, but for me the clip was too big and bulky so I took it off and put a BENCHMADE clip on and adjusted it a little and it is perfect. Also if it doesn't hold your knife secure enough for you try a piece of elastic or rubber band around the pouch it works great!

I had "looseness" concerns with the two Elishewitz "Kangaroo pouches" in my possession - when you turn it upside down, a fairly expensive knife slides out. I haven't tried the elastic-backed felt on the inside yet, but the rubber band on the outside seems to work, and inside your pocket you don't care what the pouch looks like anyway. Outside your pocket, maybe use the elastic hair band of your choice. If you have to push a little to get the knife into the pouch, then you'll have to pull a little to get it to come out, and that is good.
