Anyone familiar with case sendbacks?

hey everyone, im sending my case hobo knife back to the company for a fixer upper, its kinda messed and i wanna know what you think will happen, willl i get a new knife? or a fixed knife?

how long do you think it will take till i get it returned?
 
I had only one experience with Case returns.I returned a Lowes copperlock that looked like someone had ground down the blade to resharpen and returned it to Lowes.I got the knife and did not notice the non-factory sharpening look till I got home.So I returned it to Case,I did not trust Lowes anymore,could not know if they had been selling returned knives.I sent it priority to case.Got it too them in two days.I had no response,so about a week I e-mailed,they said would be sent within 2 weeks,got it back about 4 weeks later.Probably just replaced blade or sent me a new one couldn't tell,don't know why the delay.

thanks tomb, im going to record the serial # and all that jazz, and when i get it back ill post a followup.
