Anyone familiar with Gerber Mark II's???

I just bought a Mark II with a Gray Handle w/ cordura sheath. The serial number is CS0149. Was this a special production run? I know gray handle ones usually come with leather sheaths...such as the 25th and 35th anniversary ones! Any info would be appreciated! Thanks...
