Anyone familiar with Lynn McBee or Bee Brand Knives

I am trying to find out if Mr McBee is a member of the ABS or Knifemaker's Guild or if anyone here is familiar with him as a maker.

I had a less than ideal interaction with him at the Bladeshow and I am trying to find out more about him.

Depending on what I find out I may post in GBU but I would prefer to gather information first.
 
I don't know about your deal but some of his knives looked like remarked, old factory knives. Oops, there goes my tact and grace.
 
That is exactly what they were.

He sold me a Muela that he claimed was forged 5160. I was distracted and didn't see the manufacturers stamps that he tried to polish out until later.

Fortunately it was not a terribly expensive lesson.

I wouldn't expect him to be a member of either ABS or Knifemaker's Guild. Both of these groups have extremely high standards of ethics.
