Anyone familiar with Manker Knives?

Hey. I encountered a knife that looked kind of interesting but I’m not finding any information online about the company so I’d thought I’d see if any of you know anything about Manker Knives.

I’m interested in a Manker Saber Folding Knife - Stonewashed Titanium Handle & Stainless M390 Steel Blade (Blue Anodized).

It also comes in Black Titanium and “natural” color.

Manker also makes tiny models called Elvin and Fura but I don’t think they seem very practical. The Saber appears to be a good EDC size knife.

I know Manker started out as a high end flashlight company but not much info out there on the knives. YouTube has some reviews on the Elvin.

The knife looks interesting because it’s pretty unique. The blade steel is respectable and it appears to be a decently made product but I’m worried (suspicious) that it could be a cheapo Chinese crap product.

This would end up in my collection and not really see any real world usage but I only want good knives.

So, anyone know anything about this brand and more specially about the Saber model?

You can see the knife on Amazon - Manker Saber Folding Knife

I’m more curious than anything else.

Thanks.

i bought one but im not sure how if its it really is m390 steel so i looked around and i saw this so im wondering if you got one too or anyone here, i wanna know how if its really good based from knife experts out there that own one of these.

Interesting. I didn't know they'd branched out from flashlights into knives. I only own one Manker light, but it's high-quality and nicely made.

The absence of a pocket clip makes the Saber a pass for me. But overall I'd be cautiously optimistic about Manker's ability to manufacture a solid knife -- and I'm definitely curious to hear impressions from anyone who owns one.

Looks solid, I'm familiar with their flashlights which are well made.

I'd definitely be leery though $99 for a M390 titanium knife seems cheap but it might be worth a shot.

i've had it for a couple of weeks now, cutting boxes etc. its pretty solid for sure the only problem is im skeptical if the blade material really is M390 though they are a reputable name.

i think that may even be overpriced as how tiny this thing is, but i really dont know much about knives and im just getting into it.
