Anyone Familiar With Red Star USA Knives?

Hi All:

I have a sheath knife, heavy weight, brass fittings, pakkawood handle. It looks something like the custom knives made by Barminski in Colorado. The only marking is Red Star USA. I find nothing like it on the internet.

such an old post but I recently picked up a nice bone handle knife with red star knives stamped on sheath and the blade has Neil Smith one side and red star 1997 on the other, maybe Red Star ,Arkansas , Id like to know myself
