Found these on sale online today, they went fast. Made by Franklin, the baseball glove people. Built with Nomex and Kevlar, apparently US made as well. I had never heard of them before but I figured its time to replace my old pair of worn-out Mechanix fastfits that have been my only shooting gloves for the last few years and are fairly shredded. These gloves usually go for about $95, figured I would give em a try due to the price cut, apparently part of a canceled military contract. Anyone have experience with these gloves?

I've only ever used Mechanix gloves for shooting. I'd be interested in hearing if these are worth 3-4X the price of the Mechanix gloves?

UPDATE:
So far I have gotten to use the gloves for a few shooting sessions and consider them broken in at this point. The gloves are very comfortable, well-made, and have good grip. The hard shell on the knuckles took a bit of getting used to and was slightly uncomfortable at first but now i don't even notice. The gloves are fairly abrasion resistant this far, only wear is a bit of blackening from gun handling. Working the fire controls of AR's, shotguns, and handguns was not impeded in the least. Will continue to update with more use.
