Sorry to bump this thread but I was thumbing through the latest issue of blade at an outdoor store today and I saw some great looking "nordic" style handled bowie knives. The maker died some time ago, and it seems ag russell bought them out and started making those types of knives again.
Do you happen to remember the makers name? For the life of me I can't remember, and it's killing me!
Also that custom reese weiland cqc-7 looked awesome! (was it all all titanium?) ribbed one was great looking too.
