The title says it all. Anyone get their MemorialDayGanzaaa InfiManDu yet? If so, please post pics.

Nope, but I should have my Beefmandu today to hold me over. :D

Asked Lexi last week and she said they were still "weeks" out. I'm assuming that's more than 2 ;).

I got mine a while back - pics posted. (I'll find & repost here)

My Infi has arrived...
Actually, it got here yesterday; but I was too tired to deal with the camera (charging battery, going outside, uploading, resizing, etc)

During the pre-Ganza commentary, somebody commented that these were thinner than regular RMDs & dubbed them Thinfidus. Maybe it's my eyes; but it looks just a hair thicker than one of my other Infidus...could be the same; but it definitely isn't thinner. (I didn't compare to a stock RMD)

Not a big deal to me - but I noticed the logo etching is a little funky on the T. It's weak on the red/black handled; and barely there on the green/black

Awesome pics guys! Thanks for sharing! I have three on the way and was hoping to have 'em in time for next weekend but don't think that's going to happen :( at least your pics will keep me going for now.

hhmoore, I too think it looks a little thicker. I didn't hear anything about them being thinner but who knows. Maybe because of they way they're finish they didn't take as much steel off?

The "thinfidu" comment was made in the Ganzaaa thread by a member, after Jerry posted the specs.
As far as the difference between the two I compared, it could well be the result of BIG SF vs satin (satin, as you indicated, would require more finish work, resulting in a slightly thinner blade)

that's a bummer. I'm heading to the upper peninsula in a couple weeks and wanted to break mine in. They must have had some handle combos already made up and ready to go if folks here already have their scores.

Agreed, also it's apparently better to not ask. That must place you in the back of the line :(

Sad to revive this thread, nut still no word on mine. This "patience " thing is killing me. :(

If it's any consolation, I'm still waiting on a Rodent 6 ordered in February. (22 weeks down, lol). You don't get to cry, or crack, before me.
Patience is easy...just do what I do:
First, try not to think about it.
When you screw that up (it happens), just remind yourself that it will probably be here in about 2 weeks.
Go back to trying not to think about it.
When that doesn't work, alternate between having a drink and buying a knife that will ship immediately.
By the time it arrives, you won't even be excited; so you can just post it on the Exchange to pay for your next order.

(For ME, that last part was a bit of a joke...I've never sold anything from the Swamp)

According to the shop, they were split into two batches. Not sure if there was any logic, luck, or just good looks in the selection process, but some folks got their 'Du's early and some of us just get to wait it out.

Lovely. Seems I'm going to have to resort to some type of therapy for this...time for some knife "browsing" I guess.

I am in the latter group, apparently. But that's cool. I got my TG with same handle config, so I know how awesome the 'du is going to be. For your viewing pleasure:

hopefully not too long, we're closing in on the 6-8 week quoted wait time. looks like I won't have my 'du before I head to the upper peninsula after all, which really stinks.
