As it says in the title. My brother in law is a knife lover who has been bitten by the spyder bite. He has a couple already but i bought him a blue Spyderco Endura full flat grind, he's been eyeing it for awhile and i figured "why not". So whats everybody else gifting this year? and do you have any conditions on gifting a knife?

Shit i hope Slicey doesn't read this before the 25th!!

LOL Good luck.

I've been thinking about giving my dad something. He just uses a cheap all metal keychain multitool thing. so I'm thinking a small keychain sized Spyderco. I might get my little brother a cheap Kershaw or something since he always loses his knives.

I'm giving my brother some Victorinox kitchen knives.
I gave away an SOG Field Pup in a gift exchange.
My buddy's kid is getting a SAK...model to be determined.
My kids are buying me 2 Condor knifes.
I bought my daughter an Orange Mora to keep in her trunk bag

I got my cousin a custom mini grip with S30V but could not wait for Christmas. Sent it to him a couple weeks ago. I got myself the exact same knife so we now have a matching pair.

I got my father the Kershaw tactical pack at walmart as part of his gift. My girlfriend got me the Para 2 in M390 from Bento. I just hope it arrives before Christmas.

My brother has a R.A.M. on the way. I could have gotten my dad a fillet knife, but my step-mom told my sister about my dad wanting one first, so she got him one. Oh well, as long as it is a decent knife.

Great steel to be had this year! I'm sure the recipients will love them all.

Myself: Kershaw Piston, ZT 550 2nd gen, BM-707

Couple buddies: Kershaw SelectFire

I making my father, mother, sister and good friend knives. I just start my mom's little 01 wharnie yesterday and i'm liking it so far. My brother and I never get each other anything because we don't need to. My other three sisters live over two thousand miles away and we never get each other anything either. Could you imagine if I had to make knives for all 5 siblings, my friend and my parents? Good Gawd! I'm busy enough with the four.

I've been shopping for 4-5 months. I'm giving a knife to every male son(3), son-in-law(3) and grandson(3). I'm waiting until a bit after Xmas though. This is a one-time thing and I just want each to know how helpful a pocketknife can be. In one case, it's a custom fixed-blade as the sil is a big hunter. It's giving me a big kick to do this, and I've picked each knife based on a guy's job and daily dress-code and habits. I've changed my mind a few times, and have been selling the discards as I can.
I've even given myself a knife or two or three for Christmas.
