I'll meet some friends and ride over to BLADE in Atlanta Saturday. I just wondered who else was going??

Oops, yeah you are right. I did see that the meeting was at 12 on Saturday and then I looked it up again and I got last years. Here the schedule that I copied and paste from this year.


SATURDAY, JUNE 1
10:00 a.m. 30-Minute Yoga Intro For Deep Relaxation & Stress Reduction—Jot Singh Khalsa, Room 104
10:00 a.m. How To Throw Knives & Tomahawks—Bobby Branton, The Courtyard
10:00 a.m. ABS Auction, Room 103
11:15 a.m. Fundamentals of Sword Handling in Historical Swordplay—John Clements, The Courtyard
11:30 a.m. Bladesmithing For Kids—Wes Byrd, Joe Keeslar and Tim Potier, Room 109
12:00 p.m. Buck Collectors Club—Room 103

So, wrong date and wrong year, but by shear luck, same time and same room. Thanks for catching that.:rolleyes:
 
You folks that are coming the BUCK company booth is right in the front at the middle of the wall. Be sure to look in the right hand corner for the BCCI club aisle. Look for the BCCI banner up in the air on pvc pipes. Come over a see the collections and meet Joe House and the club officers and displayers. I likely will be with my knives beside the club table. Some club knives for sale also. Buck Yellowhorse display and Jimmy Holbrooks large 500 display. 300Bucks

I'll be there Saturday with my son. I've got a micarta 112 and one line 102 that I'd appreciate someone from Buck checking out.

I and my soon tobe wife gots here today kinda late ...
also I did not gets my request in for a table in time before dey was all accounted fer
but a kind gentalman moved his two cases to one end of his table and said I could share his with him
fer the one case I brung wit me
jest gots to get Buck Custom's ok on it tomarow morning ...
buck sway did not make it with his 112 collection seems he has a health issue wit his leg and hip
the turn out here byu the public is great! lota money changing hands too
Chuck Buck did not make it ... has a little health issue but
CJ had his dance card clear so he went to dinner with the club at Folks
seems my fiancé and CJ jest hit it off really really well ... he got a hug that normanly only I gets!
I think he is a going to escort her and give her the grand tour !
which is great wit me as I really wanted to dig in and try to spot any stray 110's

Joe is here but I did not see 300 bucks now were! hope he made it
I heard dat there might be some chairs open on the board for at large members
well I is not as large as I used to be
have lost a lot o weight and fat
but thought I might throw my hat
in the ring to see if I could maybe be voted in to the circle of buck
none o the so cal boys made it

all in all my love is having a good time here meeting all the famous
Buck and BCCI folks she has heard about fer nigh on to two years now!

well the vote was I did not get to take up the offer by a friend to share his table
and set up the one display I took to the show
seems dat der were two whom protested wit to bad rules is rules... oh well ...
oh well ... dat be what I gets fer thinking tohard
I did get to buy a chef knife for my self and for my soon to be ...
there were four 531 knives avabile for a good price and I gots me two ..
gots one 110 that was a build out .. kinda changed my mind after I got to looking at it fer a bit
also picked up a pack lite which I think will be a good knife

well there was not a board opening in voting I felt I could handle real well so did not run
but next year other seats come open and I may run for one of those
I did decide to write a few articles on the folding hunter family (110) for the news letter
and to start a book on the folding hunter also..

as to the other .. well it wont happen again that I rely on a
verbal only message of that I will be there next year and
that I need or want a table at any knife show again!!
from now on I will send my request via mail return receipt requested
I mean I have only missed the one show the year my wife died and
told them ahead I would not be there -that was 4 years ago
but be that as it may that there were jest 2 that said he could not share his table
I will still be active in the club
have several ideas I will bounce around some time on club shows and activities
stay tuned !!
and yes now hope some one will start a thread on the 25 meeting in post falls!
