Went to the Shenandoah Knife Collectors Club show last year, my first knife show and had a great time. Met quite a few BCCI members as well as Chuck Buck plus saw a lot of beautiful knives not to mention some fantastic Buck displays. Since the wife is out of town next weekend me and the credit card are heading up on Saturday morning and see if we can't stimulate the economy. Anyone else planning to attend?

I sure would be tickled if you took a few pics of the knives and such while you were there. That would be outstanding of you.

JOHN FORESMAN, BCCI, is scheduled to attend so you are in for a real treat. I betcha something on that table will burn a hole in that credit card.

Have a great time you lucky lucky you.

I plan on going on Saturday. Last year was my first time also. It was great to get to meet Chuck Buck and see all the Buck knives on display as well. I had a great time and looking forward to going back.

Oh man.....I am jealous!!

I really thought I would be able to attend, but I still have too much going on here in Florida. It looks like my master plan fell apart on this. :(

Hmmm, just did a search on the google machine... The internet's map tells me it's just a 5 hour drive... Hmmm

yyyeeesssss it is a great show!
bucksway and i both will be there!!!
it is 15 hr drive for us
but worth it
last year was the first year i missed in 6 years
it is really a nice layed back show..
if it is not far for any one i sure encurage you to make it

I just made plans to go with my Step-Son. We share the same love for all things knife related, I'm excited.

Well darn it any way. As much as I've been looking forward to this show I'm thinking I'll have to pass this year. Bought a new truck last month and for some reason I had it in my mind that my first payment was a couple of weeks away. Turns out it was this week. With $400 in knife purchases already this month on top of the truck payment I'm pretty sure I'd end up in hot water with the wife if I attended the show. My will power is about nil and I think the temptations at the show would be more than I could resist. Just the gas and admission would run over $50. Hope those of you that do attend enjoy yourselves and best wishes to all the BCCI members. Hope you guys and gals do well with your displays.

Gassed up the car this evining. Ready to head out early in the morning. It's about a three hour drive for me. Threw my orange Buck ballcap in the car so I won't forget it.

Last year I got there as the doors opened on Saturday and was greeted at the door by Chuck Buck. That was quite a suprise.

Hmmm.............Should I bring some money or not?

Greg

I will be there Friday and Sat, see you there!

ah must have missed you fri!!

so far is a fantastic show lots of the buck folks here and every one very friendly!!
clint was suprised at how many buckaroos were here

Was a great show! First time I have gone and I wish I had been there before!

Great BCCI displays and really I learned a lot. Wish I had more time to talk with the BCCI members but was helping my Father and running a table to narrow down my collection so wasn't enough time.

Picked up a Buck Nessmuk which I am thrilled with! Wasn't looking to buy but that was sort of a Buck "grail" for me so I had to have it.

Highly recommend the show to other Buck fans! You will see a lot of things that you will see no where else.

There are great pictures of some of the folks and the displays over in the BCCI member topics for you members that would like to see some.

This was my first time going to Va. and this was only my third different show.I have been only to Atlanta and the Gator show in Lakeland Florida...Most of the best Buck collections and displays were there, just like the Blade show.I had a GREAT time talking to all my fellow collectors and most of all just seeing all the wonderful RARE Bucks on display! When you get to see up close knives you would usually only see pictures of is a thrill! Larry had some really, really rare Striders[sic] and much more on his sale table that were worthy of display cases..LOTS of cool Bucks!! To me being able to hold a rare valuable Buck in my hand makes it worth the trip...Even if you cannot buy.....Ebay just ain't the same folks.I feel that a BIG reason to go is to develop and deepen friendships with Buck collectors.. In 3 days or so you have time get to know them.I LIKE hanging out with great people like Ken,Jim,Larry,Dave and all the great Buck folks. And you can learn about your knives.Go to Atlanta if you like collecting Bucks It's like getting a AA degree in collecting in just 3 days..
