I think we need a picture thread for Thanksgiving. We need to see more food prep and turkey time photos will all maner of Beckerheads and the BKx of your choice being used to carve the birds.

I don't know if my parents will let me carve a turkey with a sharpened pry bar... :(

the looks of family on your families face when you pull out the Becker... A few jaws will be dropping.... others will be thinking "there he goes again with that knife of his"

Bk5 does quite well!

We're not trying to chop it to pieces are we?

I'd use the 5 except for two things: one, I have my own hand-made carving knife :D and second I usually have thanksgiving at someone else's house, so.... no knife waving. and he has a nice carving set.

I'll be using my 5 to slice and dice that bird.
Although it would be cool to see a Machax slam a turkey in half. Wham-O!!

What do you have to do -- rip it apart with your hands like Henry the 8th? :D
Hahahaha! its only my knives they dont like because they are"dirty" and I am "always outside cutting trees with them" :D I am only allowed to cut MY food with them, and not at the dinner table. They are strange people sometimes :)

My fam would react the same way haha.

I might be able to get away with it. They have seen me cut up potatoes with my 9 and other food that they have eaten

You could always wash the knife before using it. ;)
