i did a search and it appears that they have all been removed :(

need to download it so i can put it in my "busse's i want" folder
and that thing is to cool to just dissappear from the forums

thats the one :D

since your here andrew, what type of glue did you use for your kevlar rig???

/what glue would you suggest for kydex on kydex? i have a pretty simple rollover design id like to put into play for a metaless sheath thats not breakaway, but id like to have glue available if it doesnt work as well as i hope it will

since im in the askin mood  :D

anyone got pics of a 6" or 8" pure bred fighter in hand? i dont recall having ever seen a picture of one being held by the handle before...

I tried various glues; to be perfectly honest none of them were perfect. The best I found was something called "Plastic Welder," a type of epoxy. It worked very well.

For a non-metal sheath that's non-breakaway, I would look into getting some plastic chicago screws. They are remarkably strong and come in several different types.

Here's one pic of Chuck's Machete (in progress). I will continue to look for another one.

Yum. Yum. Yum.

Look at the bright side. By the time Chuck actually gets it, he'll be too old to lift it and our children can have a bidding war over it!

Cheers,
BJB :D

Of course confusion will reign over our kids. Do we buy Chuck's machete or do we put an order in for the newly released Fusion Battle Mistress?

Cheers,
BJB :D

Hi everyone. I'm really new here to bladeforum. I saw the pic posted of the custom machete and I have to say that its a gorgous piece of hardware. Does anyone know if its still in the process of being made or if not a picture of the completed piece. I understand that Busse isnt making asymetrical blades anymore. Is this one sym. or asym.? And what could something like cost to have made from Busse? BIGBEAR

i heard there was even a bigger blade being hammered out at busseville

i can't wait to see some prelim pics of that monster

If that thing is 36" From the handle to the tip, then the price is moderate.
$100.00 and up depending on the piece, per inch including the handle has been the Price I was lead to expect for any Custom Busse.
That was the price 4 years ago,,and does not seem to have gone up,,,even to match inflation, plenty of extra grinding on a recurve piece like that.
I would have to put it in the "and up" category.
the price seems reasonable to me,,
