Anyone grab a necker from the batch sent to Colorado Shooting Sports? What steel?

So a few days ago, while in the midst of one of my late night steel-fetish-internet-sessions, I stumbled upon this video:

I looked up their number and decided to call them the next day to see if any of these neckers were still around...turns out I got lucky and they had one left! One of the awesome employees at CSS then texted me a few pics, and I called them and said I'll take it!

Did anyone else grab one of these blades?

What steel are these neckers? The most any employee could tell me was that they had a "meteorite" finish and simply how awesome these things are...I can't wait to find out for myself :)

I know I probably paid a lot more than I would have directly through Jeremy, but after a few weeks of trying to find myself a Horton knife with no success, I decided to jump on this one. If I get lucky (again), I'll have another one coming to me next week too -- depending on what's left over after this weekend's show, that is...

Anyway, would love to hear from anyone else who scored one of these.

I have some neckers but not from CSS.
Most of them have kydex made by my self. Nothing like the kydex from Josh, but works.

I have one every day with me, black coated, A2 steel.
 
That guy is a great salesman, also look at the size of that banana slug.
 
Thanks for the info! It looks like a great setup and I already know I'll be getting lots of use out of it. I'll let you know how it works out for me...

And as far as the pic goes, I appreciate the tolerance. I've gone ahead and decided to take it down until I have some HK pics to share. I have no problem saving that other pic for the other forum :)
