Chipdouglas, I don't own the 0400, but have the 0350, 0200, 0301, and 0300. They are all excellent knives. I would expect the 0400 to be equally good. The 0350 was my first ZT and its quality convinced me that I needed to buy the rest.

You better get busy then! You don't have them all and there are like 7 new models coming out!!!

It was a great knife, very solid, with a good designed tanto. It just wasn't the slicer I was wanting (wasn't really designed to be). I eventually got a Tanto Groove that was just what I was looking for.

I had a couple of them & I kind of liked it better than the other 2 (0200 & 0300 series), because it was lighter & slimmer than the other 2. However, I tend to not like larger folders, so I got rid of them.

If you like their size, they're very good knives &, IIRC, the 0400 carried better than the 0200 & 0300s.

I like it and trust it so much that it stays in my car for the ugly work. Carries very nicely, great ergos, lightweight for its size, S30V, you really can't go wrong. I find the "nightmare grind" (recurve+tanto) blade shape very useful for rough jobs. I have no qualms about prying with it either--very stout spine.

Go for it! :thumbup::D

I really like mine. Super strong, good pointy scary looking thing ;)

I like 0400 and don't regret buying it, but it's my least favorite of my ZTs (0301, 0350, 0200). I think part of it goes to the blade profile, and a tanto by far is not my favorite. That said, if you can live with the tanto it's an extremely well built knife with really good ergonomics. I think I own it more for the sake of owning it, but that may change some time down the road.

Upscale version of the tanto Blur with well thought out changes. Bump in the night for sure, 0350 however for EDC. But why not simply get both...
