Knifecenter has a folder by a maker named Bradley. It's the Alias II and it looks like a good knife. I already have the small Chris Reeve folders and the Buck Mayo. I'd like to know if anyone has one of these and how it compares to the Chris Reeve and the Buck Mayo. The link is below.

Thanks.....

I think these debuted at Blade this year. Haven't heard much since. They look very nice, and at a reasonable (compared to a Sebenza) price. I doubt the level of fit and finish is quite up with CRK, but neither is the price. Looks like it'd give the Buch Mayo some healthy competition.

One thing makes me wonder though, the pocket clip looks like they pulled it right off of a Benchmade.

They're made by BM.

Overall, it's a good knife. Slightly below Sebenza quality.

looks like a nice knife.. the anodized bright blue thumb stud kindof turns me off though. IMO it 'cheapens' the knife.

thatmguy bought one a t blade and from what i remember he was pretty impressed. ill try to get him to stop over and give a "review"

I don't have a Sebe, so this will be one sided.

I have a prototype (1 of 10) of the smaller model.

The fit and finish are very nice. Smooth opening. Edge retention has been fine. I haven't carried it exclusively, but pretty regularly.

I concur about the "blue" being questionable, but it is really no big deal to me.

I like the scale ergonomics. That is what originally caught my eye. yes, Benchmade-ish, like the 770 and 771.

I don't know what differences the production version will have compared to my proto. I will see the productions at the INDY 1500 show at the end of August, and maybe can report on them then.

I saw another review around here somewhere. That writer went into much deeper depth.

I like the knife, and will most likely get the large version at some point.

Thanks guys. That's what I was hoping from the specifications. Think I'll order one and see what its like.

I was just about to say that the blade looks an awful lot like a BM Ares :foot:

The whole knife, or just the pocket clip?

I have seen some pretty reliable evidence on the BM forum that they are manufactured and warranteed by BM for Bradley. One forumite claimed to have received an email from BM to that effect in response to his query.

Thanks, I should check out that forum more often.

Does anyone know if the thumb stud can be switched to the other side for a lefty?

I've tried to contact them via e-mail twice last week, but so far no reply.
