I need a klutz phone.

The Brigade seems to be it. I've read a lot of the reviews and they all seem to say that it is solid even though the multimedia aspects leave something to be desired.

I got to try it out a little in the store and while it did seem a little clunky it was still leaps and bounds better than the internet experience on my Sanyo MM-740 (admittedly, the sanyo is six years old).

I be interested to know what the knifenuts think (since they tend to be more active then your average user.)

If you want a rugged phone, that can take a beating, i'd look into the Sonim tech phones. I've never tried one, but between youtube video destruction tests, and reviews, if i needed a rugged phone. I think that'd be it.
It is rather expensive though, about triple what the Brigade runs it seems.

Just my two cents anyway.

I don't need it to be "rugged" just klutz proof. The brigade appears to be so. I just hope the ruggedness isn't a trade off for features.

Just giving this one a bump to see if any knifenuts have an opinion before I take the plunge tomorrow.

Seriously a board full of gadget loving knife-nuts and not a single one of you has this phone!?!?!?

It's this one:

It's been out since march people.

Not even an "I had a boulder and it rocked" or "I have a rock and it rocks".

Not a single person jumped on the bandwagon of the ruggedized multimedia phone?

I'm disappointed in my brethren.

Fine, when I get it later today, I'll post a review.

Somebody has to be first.

My daughter works for Casio. I now know better than to buy their products.

Why so pray tell? if you don't want to post it, please shoot me a PM. I am curious. I've never had anything but good luck with their products. (though that is mostly limited to watches)

I have the GzOne Rock a couple years old. Well worth it. Not the best phone, camera etc. But its tough as nails and can take a dip in the toilet and keep going!

Don't care for all the features on the Boulder.
