I always wondered if the community had any, I love it here and can say with openness that Buck will get my priority, a family member who passed gave me the nickname "Buck" so I feel when I carry my Buck I have him with me. Plus I just like their stuff!

Well I think we all do in some way to a degree, me for instance I love spyderco (check my sig i helped start spydernation)
and keshaw and most othe company's. the best example of this is the each company's group:
Keshaw has the order of kai and the keshaw mafia
Benchmade just starting the buterfly brigade
Spyderco has spydernation
Becker knife and tool has the Becker heads
And many others.

But most of all I think if you love knives you should give them all a try at some point.

Just my opinion ("you mileage may very dude" no I'm not a tnp'er but stil think its funny!)

Cheers!

Yeah I will, I'm looking for my second foray into fixed blades and am looking at some Buck models, but also Condor

I'm relatively new but my first Quality blade was a buck 110 when I was about 9 (in the mid 80's) and my next knife was a Spyderco some 10 years later. I now own a Centofante3, Kershaw Brawler, Chill, and Clash. I have some old Gerbers that are decent and some newer ones that are piles of crap.
....
I'm not a big fan of Buck but really like the 110. Spyderco's stuff is all quality and nicely finished stuff...there's not a knife in their lineup I wouldn't like to own. I like the value and designs of the Kershaws/ZTs and have my eyes set on some of the higher ends ZTs.

I've looked at SOG and Ontario stuff and will probably get a could knives of theirs as well.

I think I'm probably "loyal" to Spyderco and Kershaw/ZT in that I like most everything they come out with but I will buy knives of other brands as well.

Nope. The best thing I can do to get more knives I like is to ignore brand as much as possible and just buy knives with features I want to see more of. There are certainly companies I trust more and others I'm far more suspicious of, but that's a fairly informal system that only affects the way I do my research. That's the biggest reason I stay away from the fan clubs. They're fine and all, but I'd rather not give any company the impression that I'll give them money for any reason other than getting the best product for the price.

Like TNhunter95 I'd have to say Buck. I've carried a Buck Stockman since I got out of the service in '75. I've had 2 "grow legs" and am now on my 3rd (it's one of the "newer knives, not as good as the 2 I had before but still good. It was obvious when I bought it that they had changed). This or a Case 3 inch fixed blade are my EDC knives. I also have a Buck Special as a camping utility knife and a Buck Pathfinder that I've carried hunting since around 1980. So sentimental attachment would be Buck (and I admit to some disappointment that they've gone to having some knives mfg.ed in China. I bought a couple to see how they hold up).

Ido own plenty of Spydercos in my collection, the most of any brand. However Id rather appreciate the knives than focus on brand loyalty. If I like it, I buy it. Works for me.

Have you any chance stumbled upon the ErgoHunter, BuckLite Max or OmniHunter?

There is something to be said for association with a clan of brand enthusiasts. There is a form of camaraderie that we as social creatures tend to crave. However, it is important not to confuse brand loyalty with blind allegiance, which tends to annoy me. I collect Emerson knives, which gives me a great deal of satisfaction. Does this mean that Spyderco and Kershaw are looked down upon? Absolutely not, as I have some fine examples of both. Similarly, Benchmade, Buck and Cold Steel are all represented in my collection of knives. Are there certain brands that I won't touch? Sure, but it doesn't mean that others should not enjoy them.

First and foremost, we all belong to the Blade Forums community. It is important not to loose sight of that fact.

Another Buck fan here. What I like about them:

1. I buy their USA made knives
2. Knives are very affordable
3. Knives are simple and strong
4. Design is utilitarian instead of fancy
5. Forever warranty

KAI, I feel Kershaw's are the best value, ZT are overbuilt and amazing, and I can't wait to get some Shun kitchen knives. I also love their customer service.

Benchmade and Zero tolerance have won my loyalty.

Both companies have terrific customer support, superb manufacturing, and good proven thoughout designs.

No, not really brand loyal but I do have certain knife patterns and or designs I really like.

KAI. After all I'm apart of the Order, but I do indeed appreciate other knife companies. After all. We are a knife family, it doesn't matter what brand we prefer.
Love the avatar thaeffman, great game.

Over 90% of the knives I buy are Busses. Most of the rest are folders, and LionSteel is my current favorite folder manufacturer.

There's wisdom in these words..........

No, not really. I do have my favorites though.

Other than Customs, it would be Chris Reeve Knives, Case, Spyderco, Benchmade, Busse, and SAK's.

Spyderco has been my mainstay...in terms of quantity.
CRK and Strider for mid-techs.
