On Blade Auction, there is a customized Microtech second generation LCC with a polished blade and pearl handles. Lots of file work and a custom thumb stud on it as well.
(Listed under Microtech - One of a kind)
Looks real nice... that particular one was modified by Gerry Vesella.
Anyone here every buy anything similiar to that?

It is the aftermarket work of Gerry Vessella. Kinda overpriced:confused:

I've seen the same guy put modified clones on the auction in a different area.
But this one is in the Microtech area and says it is a generation two Microtech LCC with ti bolsters. Any I've seen him put on the auction that said they were clones were a whole lot cheaper than this one.
Overpriced? Is it?
If it actually is a gen 2 MT LCC that has had all that filework and a polished blade and pearl handles put on it, is the asking price excessive?
I am not being argumentive here, I really have no idea at all.
The price is what, around 150 bucks more than the base price of a MT LCC?
That, however, puts it in the price range of a lot of hand made knives from custom makers that I see in the custom forum here.
But it is certainly a nice looking knife.
Further input is greatly appreciated.

If it truely is a MT LCC then it might be worth it but since you can pick up a brand new LCC for under $200.00 I wouldn't pay more than $300.00 - $350.00 tops for it. If the work was done by Tony or maybe Reese Weiland than it would be worth the higher price tag.

Hope that helps.

Phil
