I am interested in the M2, and was wondering if anyone here has one or has seen one in person, and has any good or bad things to say about it. How is the loops attached to where it goes on the belt, are they velcro, or solid?, any comments would be greatly appreciated, thanks..

I have an M2 and really like it. Just about anything from Maxpedition is great and well made. I have most all of the small waist packs (M1,M2,M4) and the M2 is my favorite. It's just the right size for belt carry of small items. I like it because it's not too big but holds a lot of items that I don't want to carry in my pocket. The main compartment has enought room for a small digital camera or compact binoculars. It also has a small pouch in the front for small items (lighter, chap stick, mints). Also has a loop on the side for a pen. When you wear it on a belt, it looks like a small camera case.

It doesn't have belt loop but rather PALS webbing attachments. If you've never seen them, they are made of two rigid pieces of reinforced cordura that are sewn at the top of the pack and snap into place at the bottom. They form loops that you can thread a belt through. What's nice about the PALS webbing is that you can attach the smaller packs to larger bags like the Falcon, making it a modular system.

I would recommend getting the pack if it will hold the items that you want. You won't be dissapointed.

I've got one and wear it most of the time. I like the idea of so much pocket stuff going in there and retrieving so easily. Also it's nice having one belt pouch instead of separate ones for cellphone, multitool, and harmonica.

The belt loops are adjustable, too, for wider or narrower belts. You can just snap the loops down for a pistol belt fit, or slide them under just one or both of the horizontal bands for regular width belts.

The big zipper and big zipper pulls make it easy to open and close even out of sight around your side.

Just ordered the M2 from OmegaTactical, thanks for the help guys. Now the hard part is waiting for it to show up;)
